The inline four-cylinder turbo engine in the Macan delivers maximum performance and efficiency even with its small size. It is characterized by its high drag torque and efficiency.
When in automatic mode, the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) changes gear very fast without any interruption in traction. Do you prefer to change gear manually? The gearshift paddles are on the steering wheel.
In off-road mode, all relevant systems switch to a traction-oriented off-road program that improves drivability and comfort during off-road use.
The optional Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) increases driving dynamics and stability, especially when cornering, with an electronically controlled, variable rear differential lock.
The Macan drives on 19-inch Macan wheels. The side blades on the Macan are finished in Lava Black with a 3D texture. The wing at the front end is painted in the exterior color. The large brake system with Black brake calipers adds another accentuating detail.
The luggage compartment is designed for a wide variety of uses – with a volume of 17.2 ft³. Thanks to the folding rear seat, it can be extended to 53.1 ft³. The optional roof rail blends harmoniously into the dynamic vehicle design and is a prerequisite for the optional roof carrier system. You can find a range of add-on modules in the Porsche Tequipment range of accessories.
The optional towbar system is designed for high towing capacities of up to 4,409 lbs, and allows a rear-mounted bike carrier for up to two bikes to be installed.
High-tech operating concept: The elevated center console allows quick access from the steering wheel to the gear selector. Its Direct Touch Control features a glass-look interface with touch-sensitive controls for direct access to the most important functions. The high-resolution 10.9-inch touchscreen display is integrated into the dashboard.
What do you not want to lose on your way to your next adventure? Time. That is why the optional Sport Chrono Package, including mode switch, provides even sportier tuning of the chassis, engine and transmission. Four driving modes can be selected using the mode switch on the steering wheel – and the Sport Response button provides maximum performance for 20 seconds.
The BOSE® Surround Sound System was developed especially for Porsche and guarantees a powerful sound with a total of 14 loudspeakers and a total output of 665 watts, as well as exclusive BOSE® Centerpoint 2 technology.
Surround View features a 360° surround view generated from four high-resolution cameras enabling even greater comfort when maneuvering. A junction view (from front and rear of the vehicle) provides assistance at more complex exits. Images are displayed on the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) screen.
When activated and at the correct speed, the vehicle is able to detect suitable parking spaces by measuring the space while driving past, and then automatically taking control of the steering to perform parking maneuvers in parallel and perpendicular parking spaces. The driver remains in the vehicle and controls the braking and acceleration of the vehicle.
Alerts the driver to vehicles rapidly approaching from behind or vehicles travelling at the same speed in potential blind spots. The warning is emitted by lights in the exterior mirrors. The function is activated by the driver using Porsche Communication Management (PCM) and is available from approximately 19+ mph. Below this speed range, Turn Assist (rear) also comes to the driver's aid by monitoring the area to the rear of the vehicle in turning situations.
