More Power For More Performance

The maximum torque of 550 Nm provides even better acceleration and elasticity figures. The torque is available between 2150 and 5000 rpm. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) is included as standard on all GTS models. The GTS Coupés feature the PASM sports chassis, which lowers the body by ten millimetres. The fastest sprinter in the family is the 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupé: With Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) and the Sport Chrono Package as standard, it races from zero to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds.

Powertrain

Twin-turbo. Our answer to your desire for performance. Maximum torque at low revs. Plus the characteristic high revving response of a 911. The new GTS models boast an additional 22 kW (30 bhp) compared with the 911 S models. Another reason to get excited is the legendary sound of the flat engine. It is guaranteed to give you goose bumps when the SPORT or SPORT PLUS button is activated, even when the engine is idling.

Sports Exhaust System

The new 911 GTS models also set new standards in terms of sound thanks to the sports exhaust system. Two catalytic converters and a rear silencer feed into two centrally positioned tailpipes in black (high-gloss). This creates a look that is more often found on the race circuit. For impressive resonance and an intensive Sports Car sound that is typical of the 911. For 100% Porsche.

Transmission

Pure, direct, precise. The 7-speed manual transmission combines a high degree of sportiness with fast shifting. When SPORT or SPORT PLUS mode is activated, the dynamic intermediate throttle function ensures optimal engine speed – and an impressive sound – when downshifting.

Exterior

The new 911 GTS models with their sharper lines and black contrasting elements drive home the point that high performance doesn't begin on the road. Front. The front is powerful. Large air intakes increase the air supply and underline the sportiness of the GTS models. Bi-Xenon headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) impress with their characteristic 4-point daytime running lights in LED technology. Rear. The rear is even more muscular. It is 44 mm wider than on the 911 Carrera S – delivering a noticeable increase in driving dynamics in every bend. The continuous light panel with LED technology is reserved for the all-wheel-drive models. For excellent illumination and an unmistakable design. 20-inch 911 Turbo S wheels. The 20-inch 911 Turbo S wheels with central locking painted in black (satin-gloss) offer outstanding grip and race circuit performance thanks to their exceptionally wide dimensions.

The New 911 GTS Models

From March 2017, a total of five variants will be available in Germany: the 911 Carrera GTS with rear-wheel drive, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS with all-wheel drive – both of the above available as a Coupé and Cabriolet – and the 911 Targa 4 GTS with allwheel drive. A newly developed turbocharger for 3.0-litre six-cylinder flat engine increases power to 331 kW/450 hp (911 Carrera GTS: combined fuel consumption 9.4–8.3 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 214–188g/km; 911 Carrera 4 GTS: combined fuel consumption 9.7–8.5 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 220–192g/km; 911 Targa 4 GTS: combined fuel consumption 9.7 – 8.7 l/100 km; CO2 emissions 220 – 196 g/km). The engine delivers 22 kW (30 hp) more than the 911 Carrera S (combined fuel consumption 8.7 – 7.7 l/100 km; CO2-emissions 199 – 174 g/km) and 15 kW (20 hp) more than the corresponding GTS prior model with a naturally aspirated engine. All variants are available with a manual seven-gear transmission or optional Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK).

Interior

What good is inner drive without a clear goal? All the more reason to have an interior that allows you to concentrate on what’s important. By ensuring that all the information you need while driving is readily available. Instruments. Sporty, not faddish. Direct, not playful. The five round instruments serve one main purpose: information. They deliver it quickly and precisely. With the good looks you expect from Porsche. And a rev counter at the centre. GT sports steering wheel. The GT sports steering wheel with reduced steering wheel diameter and non-slip Alcantara® ensures very sporty handling. The spokes are finished in black and the silver-coloured inlays are bolted on. The mode switch, with which you can select four different driving modes, is always there when you need it – directly on the steering wheel. Sports seats Plus. The Sports seats Plus in leather with a seat centre in Alcantara® are part of the standard equipment. They have electric seat height and backrest adjustment and mechanical fore/aft adjustment. The side bolsters of the seat cushion and backrest have firmer, sportier padding for outstanding lateral support. Other striking features include the new seam pattern and the embroidered "GTS" logo on the headrests.

GTS Interior Package

Peak performance right down to the last detail. And it is now even sportier thanks to the use of carbon. This extremely lightweight material is used on the trim for the dashboard and the doors as well as on the centre console. To bring you closer to the world of motor sports. The GTS interior package gives the new 911 GTS models even greater functional and visual uniqueness. For your own uniquely personal sporty design. And your own uniquely personal GTS. Everything can be made better. Even things that have already been taken to the limit. And here's the proof ‒ the optional GTS interior package for a sporty contrast. The optional leather interior with additional Alcantara® options has been extended to include accents in the contrasting colours Carmine Red or Rhodium Silver. The "GTS" logos on the headrests are embroidered in the contrasting colour. As are the decorative stitching and the "PORSCHE" logo on the floor mats. The seat belts and the dial of the rev counter are also in the contrasting colour.

Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB)

Tested in motor sports: The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) is available as an option. For the new 911 GTS models, the cross-drilled ceramic brake discs of the PCCB have a diameter of 410 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear – for even better braking power.

Lane Change Assist

The optional Lane Change Assist monitors the area behind the vehicle and the blind spot via radar sensors. At speeds of 30 km/h (19 mph) or more, the system alerts the driver if a vehicle is in the blind spot or is approaching from behind via a visual signal in the mirror attachment point finisher. Lane Change Assist therefore increases both comfort and safety on motorways. However, LCA does not actively intervene in the controlling of the vehicle and can be deactivated at any time.
