Makes starting off an exciting start: the 4.0 liter V8 twin-turbo engine with 650 hp and a max. torque of 626 lb-ft unleashes pure power. Together with the 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission and the specially tuned chassis systems, it enables the Cayenne Turbo GT to excel in longitudinal and lateral acceleration.
A powerful engine is one thing. But the power output must be transformed into optimal driving dynamics. The specifically tuned chassis helps the Cayenne Turbo GT achieve top values. Examples of this include wider wheels with greater camber on the front axle, adaptive air suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC), Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus) and rear-axle steering.
Expressive and exclusive at the same time: the sport exhaust system in titanium. The central oval tailpipes don't disappoint and provide a powerful V8 soundscape. Thanks to the light metal, they also save on vehicle weight.
Proven in motorsports: the Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB). The cross-drilled ceramic brake discs have a diameter of 440 mm at the front 410 mm at the rear. The PCCB has Yellow 10-piston aluminum monobloc fixed calipers on the front axle and 4-piston aluminum monobloc fixed calipers on the rear axle. They provide brake pressure that is considerably more powerful and, crucially, exceptionally consistent during prolonged use.
The imposing, Turbo GT-specific front end with even larger cooling air intakes is a clear commitment to motorsports.
The vehicle contour is rounded off at the top by a further inspiration from motorsports: the lightweight carbon roof with roof spoiler and side plates in carbon. The weight-optimized material with its distinctive texture ties in perfectly with the sporty overall look and also reduces the weight.
The carbon rear diffuser, with its pronounced ribs, reinforces the impression of agile performance meeting sporty expressiveness in the Cayenne Turbo GT.
The GT Sport steering wheel in Race-Tex has a diameter of 360 mm optimized for fast steering movements and a 12 o'clock marking in Racing Yellow. The integrated mode switch allows you to change quickly between the different driving modes, while the Red Sport Response button prepares the engine and gearbox for the fastest possible unleashing of power – resulting in maximum responsiveness for a period of approximately 20 seconds.
From the moment you climb into the Cayenne Turbo GT, the racetrack atmosphere is palpable. This sense of space is underlined by the GT Interior Packages. Both packages include Race-Tex equipment with leather items and contrasting stitching and seat belts in Deep Sea Blue or Arctic Grey.
Typically Porsche driver-orientated in the style of the Porsche Driver Experience: The digital instrument cluster with a 12.6-inch curved display places the displays concisely in the field of vision. Various display formats can be selected: typical round instruments, map section in the central round instrument, full area navigation map, reduced view and the optional view with Night Vision Assist in the center.
Radar- and video-based technology that monitors and automatically regulates the distance from the vehicle in front as required even down to a halt by means of the stop-and-go function (usable at 19+ mph). Additional functions: audible warning if too close; warning by active jolt of the brakes; strategic braking; visual and audible warning if pedestrians are detected within collision range.
Uses the rear radar and, where system limitations allow, warns the driver when reversing slowly of oncoming traffic when the parking aid is activated. The system warns, for example, of critically approaching vehicles when leaving a perpendicular parking space. The information is provided in stages – visually on the PCM screen, audibly and, if necessary, with a jolt of the brakes.
High-quality, full-color projection of relevant driving information in the driver’s field of vision. The projection allows the information to appear in the windshield over the instrument cluster as if it were in front of the vehicle. The display position can be adjusted for the driver’s height and seat position. For example, information on the driving speed, engine speed, driving mode, and navigation can be displayed. In addition, depending on the vehicle specification, traffic signs, hazard warnings, and Sport Chrono information can be displayed. The content that is displayed can be individually adjusted.
Note: Use of Head-Up display is only possible to a limited extent with sunglasses with polarized lenses.
