PASM is a system which electronically adjusts the shock absorbers and continuously regulates the damping force for each individual wheel depending on the road conditions and driving style.

Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus (PTV Plus).

Standard on all models: PTV in combination with the manual transmission or PTV Plus in combination with the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). The system for enhancing driving dynamics and stability operates with controlled braking intervention on the rear wheels as well as a rear differential lock.

Advantage in everyday driving: At low speeds, the system steers the rear wheels in the opposite direction (counter) to the front wheels. For a smaller turning circle and noticeably easier parking. Advantage in sporty driving: During high-speed manoeuvres, the system steers the rear wheels in the same direction as that of the front wheels. This increases driving stability and agility – for maximum driving performance.

PDCC – which is available as an option for the new 911 GTS models in combination with rear axle steering – is a system for active anti-roll stabilisation. It minimises lateral inclination of the vehicle during cornering. In addition, it minimises the lateral instability of the vehicle on uneven ground. What are the benefits? Improved driving dynamics, more neutral handling and greater comfort on the road – whatever the driving speed.

To put it simply, the tyres and the vehicle hold the road even better and you can corner more relaxed and faster than ever. PDCC thus sets new standards in terms of handling performance, ride comfort and driving pleasure.

The GTS models stand out within the 911 model line not only in terms of technology, but also in their visual design: All of the vehicles are based on the wide all-wheel-drive chassis, which measures 1852 mm even on the rear-wheel-drive models. The new Sport Design front apron emphasises the sporty character. The front end is aerodynamically optimised. A low front spoiler and increased rear spoiler extension height further reduce the lift forces on the front and rear axle compared to the Carrera S models. On the rear, the GTS is unmistakeable: smoked tail lights, silk-gloss black air intake grille and central black twin tailpipes of the sports exhaust system, which is included as standard.

A new black trim strip between the tail lights characterises the rear-wheel-drive models. The light strip is reserved for the allwheel- drive models. Sport Design exterior mirrors, 20-inch wheels with central locking device painted in silk-gloss black, plus GTS logos on the doors complete the side view. The characteristic Targa bar, which is supplied in black for the first time on the GTS, also lends the 911 Targa a particularly distinctive look.

Our view: You must stand by your convictions. The new 911 GTS models with their sharper lines and black contrasting elements drive home the point that high performance doesn't begin on the road.

Front.
The front is powerful. This is thanks to the front apron with its clean, and above all, functional lines. Large air intakes increase the air supply and underline the sportiness of the GTS models.

Bi-Xenon headlights.
The lighting design sets new standards. Bi-Xenon headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS) impress with their characteristic 4-point daytime running lights in LED technology.

Rear.
The rear is even more muscular. It is 44 mm wider than on the 911 Carrera S – delivering a noticeable increase in driving dynamics in every bend. The 911 Carrera GTS models with rear wheel drive have a visually striking trim strip between the darkened tail lights. It is finished in black like the centrally arranged twin tailpipes of the sports exhaust system supplied as standard. The continuous light panel with LED technology is reserved for the all-wheel-drive models. For excellent illumination and an unmistakable design.

20-inch 911 Turbo S wheels.
The wheels embody pure motor sports. The 20-inch 911 Turbo S wheels with central locking painted in black (satin-gloss) offer outstanding grip and race circuit performance thanks to their exceptionally wide dimensions. 20-inch Carrera S wheels in 10-spoke design are available as an option.

Instruments.

The GT sports steering wheel with reduced steering wheel diameter and non-slip Alcantara® ensures very sporty handling. The spokes are finished in black and the silver-coloured inlays are bolted on. The mode switch, with which you can select four different driving modes, is always there when you need it – directly on the steering wheel.

Sports seats Plus.
The Sports seats Plus in leather with a seat centre in Alcantara® are part of the standard equipment. They have electric seat height and backrest adjustment and mechanical fore/aft adjustment. The side bolsters of the seat cushion and backrest have firmer, sportier padding for outstanding lateral support. Other striking features include the new seam pattern and the embroidered "GTS" logo on the headrests.

Peak performance right down to the last detail. And it is now even sportier thanks to the use of carbon. This extremely lightweight material is used on the trim for the dashboard and the doors as well as on the centre console. To bring you closer to the world of motor sports.

Tested in motor sports: The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) is available as an option. For the new 911 GTS models, the cross-drilled ceramic brake discs of the PCCB have a diameter of 410 mm at the front and 390 mm at the rear – for even better braking power.

Bi-Xenon headlights including Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS).
The standard Bi-Xenon headlights have dynamic headlight levelling, a headlight cleaning system and dynamic cornering light, which pivots into the bend, depending on the steering angle and vehicle speed.

LED headlights, black, including Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus (PDLS Plus).
High level of safety in conjunction with sporty design. Black LED headlights featuring PDLS Plus are available as an option. Efficient and with a long service life, the LED technology also makes for less tiring driving thanks to its daylight-like light colour. A special feature of PDLS Plus is the dynamic high beam.

A camera detects the light from oncoming vehicles and vehicles travelling in front. The dynamic high beam accordingly provides continuous, infinite adjustment of the headlight range control. This allows you to detect the course of the road, pedestrians or any dangers at an early stage without dazzling other road users.
